I often find myself thinking about what I could be doing better or how much more I still need to learn in life at the age of 37. Being a father in 2025 is much different than say 25 years ago. I’m not thinking I’m the best father, but I sure do try my best to be there when I’m needed for my family. Being Dad in today’s world is much more than just the gruff provider of masculinity from years ago. It’s wisdom along with a lot of soft love. It’s stern discipline with loving patience. For me it’s just simply being there for my children’s moments of celebration and defeat. So, it sounds simple right? It’s not and we all know that.
In my blogs, I will discuss my wins and losses. I will write about my life in politics, albeit local politics, but with polarizing national leadership. Life as a Dad, husband and community leader. The pressure of local decision making and much more.
